Wedding Madness
By Kellie Alezz
My best friend of 21 years, Jeniffer, was getting married in August. Of course she asked me to be her maid-of-honor. I accepted.
I had a baby in April, so she was 4 months old when Jen got married. I was breastfeeding her. Well, the day of the wedding came, and I had just breastfed my daughter, Arianna. I had a bra on, but it wasn't padded. I was walking up the aisle, and when I stopped up at the front of the church, I felt a drip, drip on my toes. I looked down, and it was white. I didn't know what it was until I looked down at my flowers to fix them, and I saw my lilac-colored dress soaked in milk. I tried to cover it up with my bouquet, but it didn't work.
When Jen looked over at me, she of course saw it, and she started laughing. It came to be quite funny to the bride. After the ceremony, we had to get pictures taken, and it wasn't very pleasant. On every picture of me, everyone asks what that stain is on my dress, and when Jen tells them, they find it to be quite hysterical.
It's been seven years after the wedding, and Jen still talks about it. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life!
