Home-Daddy

There was never a more dedicated father or husband than mine, Travis Gallagher. What an amazing individual! We had decided when I was pregnant with our first son, Jacob, that he would take on the homebody role, which was a big sacrifice since he worked for government contractors, but of course finances are such an issue these days that since my income was higher it was a logical choice. Of course he was apprehensive; neither of us had children, but how naturally he fit into the role of "Daddy."
Whether it's the ability to turn bath time into a sea exploration or bedtime to an adventure, or taking a grumpy toddler for a stroll ride at 3 a.m., to watching them say their prayers together, there's no man who's a better daddy. You can see and feel how much he loves and cherishes our two boys, now (Jacob) 2 years and (Liam) 4 months. He is just an amazing human being, and an even better daddy.
My mom always told me that anyone could be a father, but it takes a special man to be a daddy. He is so special. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and an even better father to my beautiful children. They are our lives, and we couldn't imagine it any other way. I just know what great daddies they will grow up to be!
